Coalition Partners

The Coalition aims to assemble a suite of Partners who can each contribute to overcoming the barriers to scaling private, return-seeking capital in conservation.

 

Steering Committee

The Steering Committee will be responsible for guiding the organization of the Coalition and ensuring that it meets its objectives and purposes. It currently consists of Cornell University, Credit Suisse, IUCN and The Nature Conservancy NatureVest (the four founding organizations).

 

Secretariat

South Pole serves as the Platform Coordinator for the Coalition since fall 2019.

 

Working Groups

The Coalition has established working groups to facilitate its work. The initial expectation is that working groups are to develop blueprints for the identified priority sectors:

• coastal resilience
• forest landscape conservation and restoration
• green infrastructure for watershed management
• sustainable agricultural intensification
• sustainable coastal fisheries

The Coalition may establish additional working groups on other investment sectors or other topics altogether.
